Prerequisites: Completion or Testing Out of Python Level 1. (Please email support@fireflycoders.com should you have questions!) Recommended Age Range: 12-15 years. Now that the basics of programming using Python have been mastered, we will focus on building out more complex projects. As always, we will be 100% hands-on, designing interactive games and simulations! In this class, we will develop projects with an intermediate level of complexity. Since the foundations of computational thinking are now in place, we will begin to explore modularity, reusability, and composition within our code. As students take on increasingly more complex challenges, their ability to break down complex problems is further nurtured and amplified. At the end of this course, they will be able to apply critical thinking to the core concepts of computer science to build enormously creative and cool projects!
